About Us
We help manufacturing and distribution businesses get the most out of SAP Business One by selling, implementing, and supporting the platform. In addition to SAP services, we've developed a suite of custom applications and add-ons that extend SAP B1's capabilities for our customers.
We are a profitable, PE-owned company with an established customer base and a global team.
About the Work
Our Head of Engineering is stepping away, and while we look for the right full-time replacement we want to keep our engineering team productive and on track to our goals. We're looking for a Fractional Engineering Manager to step in quickly and lead our small engineering team, providing guidance and DevOps support along the way.
Specifically, you'll:
- Manage a team of 3 engineers & 3 QA, all based in India
- Own our scrum / agile process, lead our sprint ceremonies, and ensure consistent and on-time delivery of our roadmap
- Code review the team's work
- Manage our CI/CD pipelines and self-hosted infrastructure (Windows)
- Work with our outgoing Head of Engineering on a smooth transition plan
NOTE: We have also started a search for a full-time Engineering Manager, but are looking for a Fractional EM to play an interim/stop-gap role while we find the right long-term fit for our org.
Tech Stack (across 3 products):
- React
- .NET
- C#
- SQL servers
- Hana (a SAP-specific database)
- Azure, + self-hosted Windows servers
About You
You MUST have:
- Managed engineering teams as an Eng Manager, Head of, Director, CTO/CIO, etc.
- Exposure to ERP systems
- Deep understanding of scrum/agile methodologies, and leading the necessary ceremonies
- Significant experience with OOP languages like C#, Java, Python
- You must be comfortable performing code reviews of C# code
- Highly comfortable leading all DevOps, including CI/CD, infrastructure, self-hosting
- Can be based anywhere in the world, but must be available from 8am - 12pm ET
Nice-to-haves:
- Significant ERP expertise, even SAP expertise
- C# expertise specifically
