Triumph Properties Group, a Beverly Hills, family owned, real estate investment company has an excellent opportunity for a Fractional Director of Accounting and Finance to work directly with the owners., The Company is seeking a candidate who is looking for a long-term role and is an intrinsic member of the Management Team. The individual will also be involved in monitoring a portfolio of investments in private equity, venture capital, hedge funds equities and bonds.
Major Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of consolidated cash flow reports for all entities
- Review of financial statements
- Cash Management and transfer of excess balances to investment advisor on a monthly basis.
- Maintain and handle interest payments of intercompany loans and estate planning loans
- Monitor the performance of the family investments in cash, bonds, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, and equities. Liaise with outside advisors to monitor Addepar reports and investment advisors to ensure accurate reporting.
- Prepare and maintain real estate owned schedule
- Assist in closing real estate acquisitions together with Director of
- Prepare personal and trust financial statements for company’s partners on an as needed basis for loan transactions or otherwise.
- Prepare tax information for Company’s outside accountants of family’s investment entity and company’s partners and trusts
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience working for a mid-size real estate company.
- Bachelor’s degree required, CPA strongly preferred. Proficient understanding of accounting and tax principles.
- Proficient in Yardi Voyager and preparing cash flow reports
- Financial Planning Expertise
- Solid understanding of, Partnerships, Limited Liability Companies (LLC), S-Corporations; helpful if knowledgeable in trusts and foundations and an understanding of the relationship between various entities within the Company.
- Budgeting, fiscal management principles and procedures for both for-profit and nonprofit entities
- Proficiency with computers and relevant software applications and specifically Yardi Voyager
