About The Job
We are seeking a Fractional DevOps Engineer / Cloud Architect (part-time, remote within the USA) who will evaluate, improve, and manage our infrastructure. This is a strategic hands-on role where you will work directly with leadership and our development team to build a strong, scalable foundation for Trackhawk Fleet product.
Responsibilities
- Audit current cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and system architecture
- Redesign and optimize for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Implement best practices for security, monitoring, and performance
- Standardize and automate deployments with CI/CD tools
- Document systems and processes for long-term maintainability
- Provide ongoing part-time guidance and support as we scale
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Architect, or similar role
- Strong background in AWS (preferred) or other cloud providers
- Hands-on experience with Docker / Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins)
- Solid understanding of security, networking, and scaling SaaS applications
- Based in the USA and available for fractional/part-time engagement
Engagement Model
- Fractional role (5–15 hours per week on average)
- Remote-first, flexible schedule
- Competitive hourly rate with consistent hours
