Context

We’re working with an AI driven insurance underwriting firm to place a fractional lead data engineer to work alongside their Chief Data & Analytics Officer to complete the rollout of their Snowflake data lake.

You’ll leverage your deep data engineering experience, Snowflake expertise, and insurance industry domain knowledge to design and implement new data-models and pipeline phases for 50 tenants across a range of different lines of insurance business.

You’ll also serve as a public face of the growing data organization within the company, guiding AI engineers on effective and efficient techniques for accessing and processing data within the lake

About You

Roughly in order of importance:

• You have Snowflake experience
• You have knowledge on insurance industry data modelling
• You have experience in data engineering leadership
• You have 7+ years of experience as a data engineer
