Context

We’re working with a company that has a subscription based mobile app with millions of users. They have a small analytics team of three.

The head of that team has an analytics / data science background and could use the help of engineering leader in the immediate term to understand some inconsistencies they’ve observed in the data being produced by their ETL pipelines.

In the medium term they’d like help improving their analytics infrastructure to support a series of new analytics-focused initiatives they’ll be undertaking in 2025.

We’re looking for someone with a data and analytics oriented engineering background who’s helped multiple other companies stand up or iterate their analytics infrastructure.

About You

Roughly in order of importance:

• You have an engineering background
• You have exposure to ETL / data pipelines
• You have exposure to ELT / dbt / analytics engineering
• You have experience analyzing subscription data
• You have 8+ years experience
