About Us
We're an all-in-one SaaS platform build for outdoor eCommerce brands. We connect brands directly with consumers through our curated marketplace, and equip them with everything they need to run and scale their business. E.g. a CRM, payments, shipping, tax compliance, and more.
We have a product in market, with early revenue, and are looking to start scaling.
About the Work
Our CEO has been managing the engineering team so far. We're looking for a Fractional CTO to provide true technical leadership, both with the engineers and the rest of the leadership team.
Specifically, you'll:
- Conduct a full audit of our existing platform, identifying the gaps, technical debt, and other areas for improvement
- Develop a clear technical roadmap for the future of our product
- Advise on and help implement the AI features that we think will help our product stand out
- Oversee our current engineering team
- Hire new engineers and/or help us evaluate the right agency partners
- Work closely with both founders to align technical direction with our business goals
Tech stack:
- Angular
- Nest.js (Node)
- Python
- AWS
About You
You MUST have:
- Held CTO, VP, Head of Engineering titles at other early and growth stage tech startups
- Significant B2B SaaS and/or marketplace experience
- Strong, and recent, architecture design work, particularly with our tech stack
- Experience thinking about the business, not just the codebase
- You can turn complex technical concepts into layman's terms so our leadership and investors can easily understand
- Hands-on experience building AI features
- Based anywhere in the USA or Canada, but must be willing to work EST hours
