Context:

Forward is a benchless consulting firm. This means that every time we place someone on a project, we have to find - and technically vet - a subcontractor. We’re typically putting 10 folks through a 30 minute tech screen for each open role. We’re looking for an engineering leader who can who can run a portion of these tech screens for us.

Ideally this person would feel comfortable screening folks for some combination of frontend, backend, data, ops, and mobile roles. The most common keywords we see for frontend, backend and mobile are are node, python, ruby, react, react native, flutter and elixir. Note our screens don’t involve live coding but instead working with candidates to lay out a solution to role-specific technical problem.

You’ll be a critical component of Quality Control and Forward and after several months will likely end up communicating directly with our clients, helping them to understand and define the problems they’re facing as they’re building their engineering orgs.

Roughly in order of importance:

• You have deep experience technically screening engineers and building teams
• You’re comfortable screening folks for a wide variety of technical roles
• You have recent hands on engineering experience
• You have 10+ years experience
