Chief Technology Officer

The Fractional Chief Technology Officer will serve as the architectural and strategic backbone of PortfolioVue™, shaping its technical roadmap while ensuring alignment with our business growth strategy. This leader bridges technology vision with market credibility, providing investor confidence and long-term technical direction for Camaraderie Experts and its clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Technology Strategy & Roadmap
  
  • Define and evolve the technical vision and architecture of PortfolioVue™.
  • Align technology strategy with business priorities, client needs, and investor expectations.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate them where they add scalability and value.
• Architecture & Innovation
  
  • Provide the architectural blueprint for AI-powered dashboards, predictive analytics, and enterprise integrations.
  • Ensure cloud-native, resilient, and compliance-ready infrastructure (SOC2, ISO 27001).
  • Create frameworks for innovation across machine learning, NLP, and workflow automation.
• Execution & Delivery
  
  • Guide technical delivery of new features and integrations.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure high-quality, reliable releases.
  • Translate complex technical ideas into clear, executive-ready insights for clients and investors.
• Governance, Security & Compliance
  
  • Establish best practices for data privacy, retention, and disaster recovery.
  • Oversee compliance initiatives and certification readiness.
  • Manage technical risks and ensure business continuity across platforms and vendors.
• Leadership & Influence
  
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team.
  • Provide technical credibility during investor and client engagements.
  • Mentor technical staff and help shape a culture of innovation, agility, and accountability.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or senior Technology Leader, ideally in SaaS, AI, or PPM/ERP platforms.
• Strong expertise in cloud architecture, data security, and enterprise integrations.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, predictive analytics, and workflow automation is highly desirable.
• Proven success guiding small or mid-sized companies through scaling, compliance, and investor due diligence.
• Strong communication skills for engaging both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fractional, high-growth environment.
  

Engagement Model

• Fractional Role: ~20–25 hours per month.
• Balanced focus on strategic leadership with selective hands-on involvement.
• Engagement tied to business milestones, product roadmap execution, and investor readiness.
• Tailored for a small company environment where lean, impactful leadership is critical.
