About Us
We're a marketplace that helps medicare patients find health advocates to help them better navigate the healthcare system. We're particularly focused on patients with complex, chronic care conditions.
We've raised a Seed round from notable VC funds and some of the top healthcare execs at Oscar, One Medical, Ro, etc. and doing $1MM+ in revenue.
About the Work
Our team needs more technical leadership, particularly with a healthtech background. We're looking for a Fractional CTO that can lead our small engineering team, while still being as hands-on in the code as possible.
Specifically, you'll:
- Own the codebase - you'll be hands-on coding
- Lead integrations with other health systems, EMRs, and medicare
- Manage a team of 3 engineers, 2 of which are offshore
- Make sure we're building fully HIPAA compliant software
- Hire 3 - 5 more engineers
Tech stack:
- Python / Django backend
- Nextjs frontend
- Aptible
- OpenAI API
About You
You MUST have:
- Played a CTO, Head of, or VP-level Engineering role at other early-stage tech startups
- Significant healthcare software experience
- telehealth
- healthcare SaaS
- healthcare marketplaces
- EMRs
- Anything that takes medicare or takes health insurance for payment
- Highly comfortable with our tech stack and capable of being a significant contributor
- If it's been a few years since you coded, then we won't the the right fit
- Based in California (SF or LA ideally), Miami, or NYC only
