The Opportunity
The Underwood Law Firm is the leading expert in a real estate law niche in California. We are seeking a results-driven, fractional, Chief Marketing Officer with strong expertise in digital advertising, lead generation, and performance analytics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing multi-channel campaigns focused on maximizing PPC performance, improving CPA efficiency, and driving measurable ROI.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies
- Performance Oversight & Analytics Reporting of KPIs such as website traffic, conversion rates, ROI on ad spend, conversions, and customer acquisition cost.
- Manage and safeguard the law firm's brand identity. Ensure consistent messaging and visual representation across all funnels.
- Directly manage all paid advertising, AdRoll, AI Marketing/training, Meta, social media platforms, PPC, CPA, ROI, GMB, and OTT.
- Direct in-house assistant; provide guidance, set priorities, and ensure accountability across projects and campaigns.
- Web development and maintenance, own landing page conversion strategy across all acquisition flows.
- Ensure that the client journey across the website, ads, and content is seamless and conversion-focused.
- Oversee development of glidepaths, drip campaigns, and other prospective client touchpoints
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential clients to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead in the legal market.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal marketing, or professional services marketing, with a proven track record of success
- Deep understanding of the legal industry, including legal practice areas, ethics, and compliance considerations
- Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and tools, including CRMs, website management, SEO, referral marketing, and social media
- Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing KPIs and improving ROI.
- Strong understanding of CPA, ROI, attribution, and lead quality metrics
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
