At The Fesco Group, we believe in making people’s lives better through innovation and design. We are looking for a Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (on a contract or long-term, part-time basis) to work with internal teams and external marketing agencies in order to properly launch The Epilaser to consumers within the U.S. This fractional role can be 1-3 days per week, with at least one day on-site at our headquarter locations in Brooklyn, New York.

You will play a key role in transforming the Epilady brand and The Epilaser product into a consumer electronics powerhouse - actively promoting its specialty in “beauty” and “personal care / grooming”. This role will be intimately involved in developing the “go-to-market” strategy and then subsequently driving awareness and sales through all marketing channels within a well-designed and orchestrated campaign.
We are looking for a world-class marketer who is experienced in directing bold, consumer-centric initiatives that drive category growth, brand interest and equity, and new consumer sales. And that means you are a skilled leader in developing and executing the overall consumer marketing and digital marketing strategy to continually exceed DTC and retail channel revenue and contribution margin goals.
In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to drive all aspects of our consumer marketing:
- Create a break-through brand presence for our Epilady consumer product portfolio.
- Conduct consumer and market research to profile audience segments and glean actionable insights, which serve as inspiration to design high performing consumer marketing programs.
- Develop and take ownership of the brand and product storytelling (including tone, positioning, and overall messaging).
- Develop and execute a centralized digital and print marketing plan in collaboration with senior management team.
- Develop programs which facilitate the consumer journey from acquisition, engagement, conversion and advocacy.
- Design and connect all aspects of consumer touchpoints across the journey, including paid, earned and owned channels, with an emphasis on performance marketing, marketing automation, influencers and affiliate programs, eComm/.com experience, branded retail merchandising and co-marketing, PR, and social media channels.
- Collaborates with Sales, Marketing and eCommerce staff to develop and deliver relevant content aimed at attracting customers to the company’s website and social medial platforms
- Project manage internal constituencies and external resources to assign in properly launching new marketing campaign for a new product launch.
- Leverage data and AI to recommend dynamic use of content to reach consumer segments and trigger appropriate actions.
- Define KPIs, tracking rules, and dashboards with our data team for continuous improvement and goal management.
- Develop and manage consumer marketing budget and reconciliation with regular updates.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, technology and identify opportunities for innovation.

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in branded B2B, Digital and DTC consumer marketing, within “beauty” “personal care” and or “personal grooming” industry
- 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing or working with social media (as a marketing tool).
- Experience with consumer research, strategic communications planning, as well as tracking and reporting across channels.
- Previous responsibility in owning and managing all paid, earned, and owned channels, and owning a marketing tech stack.
- Ability to work creatively and resourcefully within a budget.
- Capability to orchestrate multiple simultaneous programs and channels across cross-functional teams and outside vendors.
- Strong sensitivity to effective creative execution and nuance in the details.
- Knowledge of managing vendor contracts and outside agencies.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions with capability to be instinctual in marketing to capture hearts and minds.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of marketing technology platforms, including digital marketing and analytics tools.
