Role Overview

The Fractional CMO will play a pivotal role in auditing and enhancing Future Works' brand positioning and lead generation strategy. This individual will oversee all marketing activities, providing strategic direction and actionable insights to achieve engagement, awareness, and qualified deal conversion. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of analytical expertise, creative leadership, and hands-on experience in professional services marketing or related industries, though professional services experience is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

1. Audit Current Lead Generation Strategy

  • Analyze the current lead generation structure to evaluate effectiveness across the marketing funnel (ToFu, MoFu, BoFu).
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization to improve brand awareness and lead conversion.
  • Deliver ongoing strategic recommendations, including actionable steps to align Future Works’ marketing strategies with its business objectives.

2. Lead Marketing Activities and Provide Strategic Direction

  • Lead all marketing activities, ensuring alignment with Future Works’ business goals, branding guidelines, and market position as a professional services provider.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute marketing campaigns and initiatives that resonate with target audiences.
  • Evaluate and refine messaging, content, and creative assets to maximize engagement and brand trust.
  • Implement processes to track and analyze key marketing metrics (e.g., lead quality, engagement rates, conversion rates), enabling data-driven decision-making. Own and exceed mutually agreed KPIs.

3. Maximize Engagement, Awareness, and Conversion

  • Design and execute strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement across channels, focusing on attracting and converting qualified leads.
  • Optimize the marketing funnel to nurture cold contacts into high-value, qualified opportunities.
  • Lead initiatives to expand Future Works’ digital presence, leveraging tools like newsletters, email marketing, LinkedIn campaigns, and event participation.
  • Continuously test, analyze, and refine marketing approaches to improve campaign performance and ROI.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CMO, Fractional CMO, or senior marketing leader, ideally in B2B or professional services industries.
  • Expertise in lead generation, brand strategy, and digital marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Familiarity with most modern and effective sales tools in 2025.
  • Professional services and tech marketing experience is a strong plus but not required.
