Chief Financial Officer

Wealth Venture Partners is a growing SaaS platform that bridges the gap between investors, venture capital firms, and early-stage startups. Our technology streamlines how founders connect with funding opportunities, empowering innovation and growth across industries. We’re seeking a Fractional Chief Financial Officer to join our leadership team and guide our financial strategy during an exciting phase of expansion.

The Fractional CFO will provide strategic financial leadership, ensuring fiscal health, operational efficiency, and investor confidence. You’ll work closely with the CEO and executive team to oversee quarterly and year-end reporting, maintain financial compliance, and support fundraising and investor relations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and KPI dashboards for SaaS operations.
• Lead quarterly and annual reporting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with investor expectations.
• Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Collaborate directly with the CEO and leadership team to shape financial strategy and long-term growth.
• Interface with investors, venture capital firms, and strategic partners to communicate financial performance and projections.
• Manage cap table administration and equity structures using Carta (or similar platforms).
• Oversee payroll and HRIS functions (Gusto experience strongly preferred).
• Support due diligence and compliance during fundraising or acquisition events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CFO or Fractional CFO in a SaaS or tech-driven company.
• Strong understanding of recurring revenue models, unit economics, and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with investor communications, capital raises, and board reporting.
• Proficiency in Gusto, Carta, and modern accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills — able to work cross-functionally with CEOs, investors, and technical teams.
• Based in or near the Greater Chicago Area (Western Suburbs) for periodic in-person collaboration.
