About us
VersaDesk is a furniture manufacturing company with over 20 years of experience. We are located in Los Angeles, California, and all our products are manufactured and assembled here. We are currently seeking an on-site Chief Financial Officer who will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and guidance to our organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and implement financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company’s financial stability and optimize working capital efficiency.
- Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for internal stakeholders.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management strategies and internal controls.
- Capital Management:
- Evaluate capital allocation opportunities, including investments, financing options, and capital expenditures, to maximize shareholder value.
- Financial Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting standards, including tax filings, GAAP, and other relevant regulations.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior finance executive, preferably in a high-growth environment or manufacturing company.
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
- Experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive results in a rapidly evolving industry.
