Working on the Finance Department
We are looking for a Fractional CFO to shape our financial strategy. You will work cross-functionally to create financial stability while enabling strategic investments to support long-term success. We’re excited to meet Fractional candidates interested in possibly coming on full-time who enjoy problem solving, foundation building, and who have a track record of raising significant capital.
Please note: This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, meaning you will not be eligible for benefits and will be limited to working 32 hours per week as a contractor.
What You’ll Get to Do
- Report to the COO.
- Develop financial strategies that support our growth objectives.
- Provide financial stability and transparency across the organization.
- Use your network to raise capital alongside our IR team.
- Build scalable financial frameworks, processes, and tools to transition from a startup to a mature organization.
- Oversee FP&A, financial projections, and scenario planning.
- Provide financial insights, align budgets with company objectives, and ensure department accountability.
- Navigate the complexities of timing payments, managing deficits during investment periods, and reducing volatility across payors.
- Guide the finance team and set the foundation for a future, expanded finance team.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- 15+ years of experience in Finance.
- 5+ years CFO experience at a growth-stage start-up.
- Finance experience in Healthcare or Healthcare IT, with food experience as a plus.
- Demonstrated excellence in financial modeling, with a strong aptitude for spreadsheets and analytics.
- Proven success raising a minimum $100M in capital.
- Comfort working independently with a bias for action.
- PMI and restructuring experience is a plus.

Compensation Philosophy (Full-time Employees)
The compensation range listed represents the total cash value, which includes a combination of base salary and an annual bonus or variable compensation. This range does not account for equity, which is included in the overall compensation package.
Compensation estimates are based on market data about the role and level, while individual compensation offers will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
