About StrataX Development
StrataX Development is a California-based infill development company capitalizing on the most significant shift in state housing legislation in decades. We stack SB 9, SB 1211, AB 507, and the State Density Bonus Law to maximize unit counts on infill lots and deliver institutional-grade deals to our investor base. We move fast, think big, and are building toward a multi-hundred-million dollar portfolio.
The Role
We're looking for a seasoned Fractional CFO to serve as our financial backbone as we scale. This is not a bookkeeping role. We need a strategic financial leader who understands real estate development, capital stack structuring, and investor reporting at a sophisticated level.
What You'll Own
- Deal-level financial modeling and underwriting
- Capital stack structuring across debt and equity
- Investor reporting, distributions, and LP communications
- Cash flow forecasting and project-level budgeting
- Banking and lender relationship management
- Entity structuring and financial compliance oversight
- Building scalable financial infrastructure as we grow
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of financial leadership experience
- Real estate development or private equity background required
- Deep understanding of Reg D structures, preferred returns, and waterfall distributions
- Experience working with accredited investors and family offices
- CPA or CFA designation preferred
- Ability to operate independently and move with urgency
