Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Fractional CFO to provide high-level financial leadership and guidance to our organization on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a seasoned finance professional with expertise in corporate and non-profit accounting, financial analysis, and strategic planning. The successful candidate will support executive leadership in optimizing financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving sustainable growth through innovative financial management practices. The Fractional CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping fiscal strategies, managing risk, and enhancing operational efficiency across all financial functions.
Duties
- Develop and oversee comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Lead financial reporting interpretation and ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606, and COSO standards
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes to optimize resource allocation
- Conduct risk analysis and implement effective risk management frameworks
- Oversee regulatory reporting and ensure adherence to all applicable laws and standards, including SOX compliance
- Lead mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, and integration efforts for organizational growth initiatives
- Manage treasury functions, including cash flow management, liquidity planning, and banking relationships
- Supervise financial software implementation and utilization for efficient data management
- Prepare detailed financial reports for executive leadership, board members, and external stakeholders
- Drive revenue management strategies, including revenue cycle management and expense control
- Provide insights through market analysis to inform strategic decision-making
- Support business development efforts through financial modeling and analysis of new opportunities
- Oversee payroll management, cost accounting, supply chain finance, and other core financial operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive with extensive knowledge of corporate finance, public accounting, or non-profit accounting
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606, and internal controls like COSO
- Expertise in financial modeling, risk analysis, tax accounting, and strategic planning
- Demonstrated ability in managing complex projects involving mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and business development initiatives
- Proficiency with advanced financial software tools and systems for data analysis and reporting
- Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising teams in high-pressure environments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills for effective report writing, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement
- Relevant certifications such as CPA or CFA are preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $137,983.25 - $166,173.38 per year
