Our services include addressing complex situations like FDA warning letters, product recalls, and optimizing quality systems, as well as offering interim professional staffing solutions for key projects and vacancies.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven part-time (2 days per week) remote or hybrid Fractional CFO. The Fractional CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including financial planning, financial reporting, and analysis of financial statements. Day-to-day tasks will involve strategic financial management, producing financial reports, coordinating budget processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Role Overview

The role is ideal for a trusted strategic partner who will provide guidance and drive the ESOP in order to grow the value of the organization. The candidate will bring a proven track record of managing a team in high-growth environments and possess strong leadership and strategic planning skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of all financial operations, accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning. Including a strong partnership knowledge to the ESOP.
• Develop forecasts and analyze financial reports and financial data to assess organization performance and identify areas for improvement and cost optimization.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate financial risks, and maintain legal and ethical standards.
• Support the accounting department to ensure proper functioning of all systems, databases and financial software.
• Partner with leadership to provide strategic financial guidance and support for major business decisions, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
• Serve as the main liaison with all external auditors, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders on financial matters.

Qualifications

• BSc/BA in Accounting or Finance. A Master's degree is Accounting, Finance or Business is a plus
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• 14+ years' experience in Accounting or Finance
• Strong work experience with an ESOP organization
• Strong understanding of the sales funnel, business development processes and contract negotiations
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends and identify strategic opportunities
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal daily management, but proactively working and managing the accounting team to achieve business goals and objectives. Must be ambitious and goal oriented to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience in the consultancy or FDA-regulated industries is a big plus.
• High proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
• Knowledge of EOS and Rocketlane a plus

Work Environment

Remote or hybrid with travel to the corporate office in Orlando, Florida as needed for meetings.

The Fractional CFO is part-time, 2 days per week (~16 hours) This may increase due to the needs of the organization.
