Fractional CFO, Next in Natural
Brooklyn, NY | Part-time, fractional | Hybrid
Next in Natural is a Brooklyn-based operating holding company with a mission to help make the world a better place, organically. We focus on building best-in-class quality combined with truly better-for-you ingredients. Our portfolio of organic and natural food and beverage brands include Chameleon Coffee, Three Trees, Aura Bora, GG Fiber, Sky Top A2 Organics and Organic Nuna. We’re looking for a fractional CFO that brings strategic financial vision and organizational discipline across the portfolio to help fuel our next phase of growth.
What You’ll Do
- Build a clear, high-level financial structure across the holding company and each sister company
- Define and track KPIs and ROI by brand, team and initiative so every dollar has a measurable return
- Lead reporting and dashboards for leadership, the board and investors
- Own the financial side of our capital strategy: models, forecasts, investor materials and diligence readiness
- Support leadership in investor meetings and keep our investor network informed with regular, transparent reporting
- Support M&A activities
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years in finance leadership, with CFO or fractional CFO experience
- Holding company or multi-brand portfolio experience required
- Comfortable leading up direct reports that ensure we have the processes and team to scale strong in our fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
- Experience supporting successful capital raises (equity and debt) and preparing companies for diligence
- Strong investor relations skills; an existing network is a plus
- CPG, food and beverage, or natural/organic background preferred
Compensation
$6,000–$10,000 monthly retainer, plus win-share upside in the value we create together.
