This role will be vital in ensuring sound financial management, accessing funding and capital markets, and driving new ideas that enhance the company's financial health and operational efficiency.

Role Overview

As Fractional CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial strategy of Mashup Group, working closely with the leadership team to support key decisions. The ideal candidate will bring experience in fundraising, capital markets, and strategic financial planning. You will play a hands-on role, using your expertise to provide financial oversight and new strategic insights that will help drive growth and long-term stability.

Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement the company's financial strategy, working closely with the CEO and executive team to drive long-term financial goals.
• Hands-On Financial Management: Oversee the company's day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, cash flow management, and financial forecasting.
• Fundraising & Capital Access: Utilize your experience and connections in funding and capital markets to assist with fundraising efforts and identify new capital sources.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present regular financial reports to the leadership team, ensuring accurate tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial performance.
• New Financial Initiatives: Proactively identify and implement new ideas, strategies, and processes to improve financial performance and support the company's growth objectives.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that the company complies with all relevant financial regulations and manages financial risk effectively.
• Technology & Automation: Leverage technology to streamline financial operations and implement financial tools and systems that enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a CFO or senior finance role, ideally in a fast-growing, tech-driven environment.
• Experience with publicly listed companies preferred.
• Demonstrated success in fundraising, capital market access, and managing investor relationships.
• Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills.
• Hands-on experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Tech-savvy with experience in implementing financial software, tools, and automation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Innovative and strategic thinker, capable of bringing new ideas to improve financial processes and company growth.
