About Us
Heal Care Group is on a mission to provide a transformative experience for children who have experienced developmental trauma. We are dedicated to a care philosophy rooted in trauma-informed approaches, such as Dyadic Developmental Practice (DDP), and a commitment to connection and healing. We are committed to raising the bar for children in care by promoting a holistic, person-centred approach and a new way of thinking about how we work with our children, their families, local authorities, social workers, our staff members, and the wider community.
About Role
We have ambitious growth plans to enable us to support more children that desperately need a safe, caring place to call home, and we are on the lookout for an experienced, strategic CFO who is prepared to be hands-on with a new company in order to help us achieve our goals. In an ideal world, we are looking for someone who has supported a new company in going from 0 to 1, helping to create the financial roadmap and building the infrastructure from scratch. We are on the lookout for a fractional CFO who is willing to support us with ad-hoc hours and ramp up and down as needed. We anticipate that this work will initially take 5-10 hours per week, but that over time this could increase.
Responsibilities
We’re not looking for a bookkeeper, but rather a strategic, experienced CFO who is also willing to be hands-on to support a new, small organization with big growth plans. Our goal is to grow both organically (by opening our own homes) and through acquisitions of other small providers. However, in order to do so safely and with the sustainability of the company at the heart of what we do, we require an experienced CFO and leader to support with key strategic decisions as we grow.
