Role Description

The Fractional CFO role at Astrocast is a remote, contract position responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and oversight. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining financial plans and forecasts, managing cash flow, and advising on capital structure and fundraising activities. The Fractional CFO will review and interpret financial statements, oversee monthly and quarterly financial reporting, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role will collaborate closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making, optimize financial performance, and align financial strategies with Astrocast’s SatIoT growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong Finance and Financial Planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy.
• Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with experience preparing and reviewing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret complex financial data, model scenarios, and provide clear, actionable insights.
• Experience as a senior finance leader (e.g., CFO, VP Finance) in technology, telecommunications, or aerospace sectors is highly beneficial.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
• Proven track record in fundraising, investor relations, and capital markets is a strong advantage.
• Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on a contract basis, manage multiple priorities, and support a fast-growing, innovation-driven company.
