About Us
We're a luxury diamond jewelry brand with both an eCommerce presence and a retail boutique in Los Angeles.
We're doing about $10 - $15MM in yearly revenue, and have our eyes set on profitability in the next few months. We're also growing quite quickly, and looking to expand across all channels, particularly retail.
About the Work
Between our high growth rate, our focus on profitability, and a number of ongoing fundraising conversations, we need a Fractional CFO. Your goal is to guide our business through the next stage of growth.
Specifically, you'll:
- Create financial models that seek to predict customer acquisitions based on different areas of potential investment
- Help us grow our retail footprint in 2025
- Support our fundraising efforts (both equity and debt) on due diligence requests, meeting prep, and more
- Oversee our cash flow and keep us focused on hitting our profitability goals
- Work with our outsourced accounting team on bookkeeping and monthly closes
- Work most closely with our CEO, COO, and head of eCommerce, and act as a true thought partner
About You
You should meet all the following criteria:
- You've led finance strategy as a CFO or equivalent for growing retail and/or eCommerce brands, ideally both. Examples:
- DTC brands with a retail footprint
- Luxury retail brands with an eCommerce store
- High-ticket physical consumer goods
- Strong FP&A focus
- Experience supporting fundraises (debt or equity)
- Startup mindset - you've worked at early or growth stage startups and scaleups
- If you only have large corporate experience, you won't be the right fit for this role
- Based anywhere in the USA or Canada - note that our team works PST hours
