About Us

We're a biotechnology company that produces supplements for both animal and human health. Our supplements are sold through channels like Amazon, Chewy, Petco, and Shopify.

We're doing $15 million in annual revenue, and expect to do $4 million in EBITDA this year.

About the Work

We're beginning to think about an acquisition strategy for the business, but want to improve our business and financial fundamentals before doing so. We're looking for a Fractional CFO to help us identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and in general button us up in the event that we do pursue an acquisition.

Specifically, you'll:

• Analyze / audit our financials and provide our leadership team with insights on how we can improve
• Provide guidance to our Controller, Bookkeeper, and outside Accounting firm
• Improve our financial reporting regimen and accuracy
• Advise on things like proper inventory controls and sales tax compliance
• Work most closely with our CEO as a thought partner
• Help us answer the question "What are we missing?"

About You

You MUST have:

• Held CFO (or equivalent) titles at small businesses in the following industries:
  • Supplements
  • CPG / Manufacturing
  • eCommerce
  • Biotech / Pharma
• Led Finance for businesses in the $10 - $50MM revenue range
• Can work with our team, in person, in Morristown, New Jersey
  • If you're not located in the Tri-State area and able to meet in person, we won't be the right fit
