About Us

We're building a new kind of healthcare platform focused on improving the quality of care as patients transition home - we help health systems (e.g. hospitals, clinics, etc.) continue to care for patients after they have left the hospital.

We're a new venture spinout from a household consumer electronics brand, and closing our Series A this Fall.

About the Work

Healthcare businesses based on reimbursements from medicare / medicaid is a very complex space.

We're looking for a Fractional CFO to help us answer the key question: How can we help health systems unlock more revenue via reimbursements to support a viable business model over the long-term?

‍Specifically, you'll:

• Provide guidance on the right reimbursement structures for our business model
• Assist with due-diligence prep for our Series A fundraise
• Typical cash management, financial planning, and modeling
• Prep materials for our board meetings
• Interface with our outside accounting firm, legal counsel, and clinical advisors
• Most important, act as a true business partner to our CEO

About You

You're a Fractional CFO with significant healthcare experience.

You should meet all the following criteria:

• A great understanding of public and private insurer reimbursement-based business models (e.g. Medicare, Medicaid, ACOs, BCBS, etc.)
• Familiarity with RPM (Remote Patient Monitoring), RTM (Remote Therapeutic Monitoring), CCM (Chronic Care Management), and virtual care delivery
• Familiarity with both public and private payor models
• Some early-stage startup experience, particularly around fundraising and scenario planning
