We've raised about $250MM to date, and have a global workforce of 50+ team members.

About the Work

The business is going through some pivotal changes and we could use more strategic finance guidance to help us navigate. We're looking for a Fractional CFO to up-level our finance function and steer us towards our profitability goals.

Specifically, you'l:

• Provide strategic guidance on our upcoming Q2 fundraise
  • Work with our CEO and board on fundraising strategy
  • What is the optimal use of funds to achieve our goals?
• Ad-hoc financial modeling of different potential paths forward for the business (e.g. expanding to new countries)
• Take responsibility for our equity management, including our ESOP and upcoming fundraise
• Mentor our controller and accounting team

About You

You MUST have:

• Been a CFO, VP, Head of Finance, etc. at early and growth-stage tech startups
• Led equity fundraising efforts in the $10 - $100MM range
• Significant experience with equity management tasks, Carta, ESOP plans, etc.
• Based in the time zones PST through EST (Canada, USA, Mexico, Latin/South Am, all okay)

Nice-to-haves:

• Have worked in biotech, ag-tech, life sciences
• Exposure to international businesses with global supply chains and distribution partners
• Open to a cash + equity arrangement
