United Exports is building the Official U.S. Export Gateway — a trusted national AI-powered platform designed to verify, promote, and connect over 280,000+ U.S. exporters with vetted buyers in 230+ countries. We’re eliminating red tape, replacing outdated portals, and launching a secure export infrastructure that unlocks billions in new trade.

Our AI pipeline will clean, structure, and continuously update millions of records — powering verified exporter profiles, trusted buyer flows, and national-level dashboards used by U.S. embassies, trade offices, and development agencies around the world.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Fractional Chief AI Officer to architect, oversee, and validate the AI infrastructure for this once-in-a-generation economic engine.

You'll work closely with our founder, AI development partner, and call center operations to:

• Define the optimal AI pipeline (data ingestion, web scraping, trust-layer logic)
• Select and align best-in-class toolkits (LLMs, vector DBs, RAG workflows, automation)
• Ensure regulatory, ethical, and security compliance at all stages
• Advise on smart data ops (human-in-the-loop call center workflows, dynamic retraining)

Tech Environment

The tools and layers you’d help oversee include:

• LLM orchestration (OpenAI / Anthropic / LlamaIndex)
• Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG + custom vector DB search)
• Web scraping agents + parser pipelines
• Continuous data validation from 100-rep call center
• Exporter template generation + Trust Seal scoring logic
• Integration with a buyer-facing web app and multilingual dashboards

Ideal Candidate

You’ve built enterprise AI systems or verified pipelines at scale. You’re pragmatic, detail-oriented, and comfortable providing C-level oversight with hands-on validation during the build.

Bonus if you:

• Have experience in government, compliance, or national security AI systems
• Understand the nuances of buyer/supplier trust data and market access
• Are available 10–15 hours per week over a 4–6 month build period
