About Us
We're a nearshore software development agency that embeds Latin American engineers into US-based tech startups (usually Seed thru Series B stage). Unlike most dev shops, we stay actively involved with our engineers after placement, providing ongoing coaching, performance reviews, and career development.
We have 20 engineers on the team today, and are expecting $3-5M revenue this year.
About the Work
Our growth so far has come entirely from referrals, and we have no dedicated sales motion to generate new pipeline. We're looking for a Fractional Business Development Lead to build that pipeline and establish a repeatable process.
Specifically, you'll:
- Identify and reach out to prospective clients through outbound channels, using your existing network where relevant. Our target is:
- US-based tech startups (Seed thru Series B)
- Usually the Engineering leader, occasionally the Head of Talent
- Book calls and qualify leads (our founder will be heavily involved in the closing process)
- Help us refine our messaging, which leans heavily on the benefits of nearshore development vs. other types of dev shops
- Start to build lightweight sales processes
- Report on meeting volume as the primary success metric
About You
You MUST have:
- Owned outbound and lead gen efforts for other software development shops
- Sold into US-based, venture-backed tech startups
- A network of engineering leaders and hiring decision makers that you can start to work from day one
- Based in North America only
Nice-to-haves:
- Deep experience with the nearshore model, including typical pricing, client objections, competitors, etc.
- Sold software development services to mid-market and enterprise clients
How to Get in Touch
Hit that "Request Intro" button below. Include any relevant links so we can get to know you better.
Your brief intro note should clearly address:
- The dev shops you've owned lead generation for, and what your results looked like
- A bit about your network of engineering leaders and technical hiring decision makers
- Any experience with nearshore staffing, or selling software services to mid-market thru enterprise
If we think there's a fit, we'll reach out to schedule an intro call. Looking forward!
