Role Description
We are looking for a Fractional Business Developer focused on professional associations. This role will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to enhance DataFlip’s growth. The role’s main responsibilities include researching market trends, designing and executing lead generation strategies and tactics, and initiating relationships within the industry’s most relevant players, opening up business conversations that can result in new business deals.
The Fractional Business Developer will closely collaborate with DataFlip’s Founding team to align efforts to meet the Company’s business growth mission and objectives. As a Fractional Business Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting market research and analysis to determine best strategy and approach to reach potential business opportunities.
- Designing and executing prospecting & lead outreach actions and tactics in accordance with the strategic new business targets.
- Generating first contact and initial engagement with prospects and leads, through a relationship-first approach.
- Leverage their referral and professional network to introduce key players and stakeholders that may result in a business opportunity for DataFlip.
- Communicate with DataFlip’s Founding Team to follow-through all generated leads and prospects.
Qualification
- Strong background in business development roles targeting US organizations and knowledge of territory specifics and insights, especially in the states of TX, IL or DC/VA.
- Strong referral and professional network base in the Associations industry is a strong plus.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A desire to work from a relationship-first approach, prioritizing conversation opportunities over traditional “push-to-sell" techniques.
- A drive to work on a base retainer plus incentives.
