Hours: Starting at 1-2 days per week (16 hours), increasing to 2–3+ days from January. Flexible across the week, depending on experience.
Rate: £350–£500 per day, plus bonus opportunities for new business
The Role
KIT.Studios is seeking a senior industry leader to step in as Associate Director, PR, Talent & Cultural Strategy on a maternity cover basis.
This is a rare opportunity to cover at founder level, leading the team strategically across PR, talent, and social media with a sharp focus on communications, cultural positioning, and business growth. We’re looking for someone with serious industry influence: strong press and celebrity contacts, high-end talent relationships, and a proven ability to deliver campaigns that resonate on a cultural stage.
This role starts part-time (1-2 days per week) with scope to expand to 2–3+ days from January, depending on experience.
What You’ll Do
- Lead PR strategy – shape and deliver impactful campaigns, leveraging top-tier media, celebrity, and cultural opportunities.
- Talent management – oversee KIT’s talent manager and roster of hair professionals and creatives, supporting with the securing high-level partnerships and profiles.
- Cultural positioning – ensure KIT and its clients remain at the forefront of editorial and industry conversations.
- Social media direction – guide content and storytelling with a refined, editorial lens.
- Client leadership – act as senior point of contact, building trust and elevating relationships.
- Business growth – identify and secure new opportunities, with bonus incentives for wins.
- Vision & leadership – cover for the founder with confidence, steering the team and projects seamlessly.
Who You Are
- A senior PR/talent leader with proven experience in the hair industry.
- Well-connected, with mega contacts across media, high-profile talent, and celebrity networks.
- Strategic and commercial - skilled at growing accounts, spotting opportunities, and driving business forward.
- Creative and culturally plugged-in, with an editorial eye.
- Confident, collaborative, and highly organised.
- London-based and ready to start immediately or very soon.
