Job Overview

We are looking for an AI Developer Consultant to assist us in the early stages of a project that involves creating an AI-driven application for job bidding estimates. This is a one-time consulting opportunity to discuss and provide expert advice on the technical and strategic aspects of building an AI solution for generating job estimates based on historical data and other relevant inputs.

The consultant will be expected to meet with our team for an initial consultation lasting approximately one hour. During this conversation, we will discuss the project’s scope, the data required, and the potential AI methodologies to use. Based on the outcome of this meeting, there may be an opportunity for the consultant to take on a larger role and execute the project on a contract basis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a one-hour consultation with our team to discuss AI application in job bidding and estimating.
• Provide insights on the technical feasibility, tools, frameworks, and methodologies best suited for the project.
• Discuss the potential data requirements and approaches to building an AI-driven job estimation tool.
• Identify challenges and considerations involved in the development of this type of application.
• Offer recommendations for moving forward with the project, including the potential for ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in AI development and implementation, particularly in machine learning, data analysis, and application development.
• Strong knowledge of AI tools, frameworks, and platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
• Experience with data modeling, processing, and AI-driven applications.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the construction or real estate industry is a plus, but not required.

Compensation

• $130-$150 per hour for the initial consultation.
• Based on the outcome of the consultation, there may be an opportunity to lead and execute the full development of the AI application on a contract basis.
