We are looking for a US-based AI Business Development Consultant who can help expand our network, generate strategic opportunities, and represent Macgence within the AI ecosystem.

Role Overview

This is a fractional and relationship-driven role focused on:

  • AI ecosystem networking
  • Strategic partnerships
  • Conference representation
  • Business introductions
  • Client acquisition support

This is not a traditional cold-calling sales role.

The ideal candidate already understands the AI/startup ecosystem and has experience building relationships within enterprise technology or AI communities.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Macgence at AI conferences, networking events, and business meetings
  • Build relationships with AI startups, enterprises, and ecosystem partners
  • Generate qualified business opportunities and introductions
  • Support strategic partnerships and expansion initiatives
  • Coordinate with the India-based operations and delivery team
  • Identify relevant AI ecosystem opportunities and industry connections
  • Maintain ongoing follow-ups with prospects and partners

Ideal Candidate

  • Based in the United States
  • Experience in AI, SaaS, startup ecosystem, consulting, or enterprise partnerships
  • Strong communication and networking abilities
  • Existing connections within AI/startup communities preferred
  • Comfortable representing a global AI services company
  • Entrepreneurial and self-driven mindset
  • Understanding of AI workflows, RLHF, data operations, or annotation is a plus
