The Opportunity‍

We’re looking for a Fractional UX Research Consultant to join us on a 6-month contract. In this role, you’ll deliver expert research consultations to our Premier customers—empowering them to confidently navigate research challenges and make data-informed decisions.

You’ll apply your deep UX research expertise to conduct one-on-one Power Sessions, offering guidance on methods, test design, and actionable next steps. You’ll also support our internal teams in maximizing Premier value for our customers.‍

The Team

You’ll be part of the Premier Services team, a group of experienced research consultants and strategists based across multiple locations. The team’s mission is to help our customers elevate the impact of their research and get the most out of the UserTesting platform. We partner closely with Customer Success, Support, and Product teams to deliver a seamless, human-centered experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Deep knowledge of UX research methods and data analysis techniques
• Experience applying a variety of user-centered research approaches
• Comfortable synthesizing customer needs and providing clear, actionable research advice
• Skilled communicator with a consultative, customer-facing mindset
• Confident working independently and managing your own time
• Familiarity with the UserTesting platform is a strong plus
• Experience providing consultative research services is highly valued
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (e.g. Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Interface Design, or Computer Science)
• Extensive experience (3+ years) in UX research, analysis, or a related role
