Responsibilities:
- Focus primarily on user testing and usability evaluation for our digital products and experiences
- Plan and run usability sessions (moderated and/or unmoderated), synthesize findings, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations
- Create concise reports and readouts that help product and design teams quickly understand what to improve and why
- Occasionally present findings in a weekly huddle or similar forum, advocating for the user and the work you’ve done
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers, and partner with data/analytics when helpful to strengthen insights
- Work independently and proactively within a part-time, flexible schedule (roughly 12–16 hours per week), organizing your time around testing and delivery needs
- Help keep the team focused on their core work by owning the research and providing an agnostic, external point of view
Qualifications:

- Strong experience planning, moderating, and analyzing usability tests and user interviews
- Demonstrated ability to work independently: scoping research, choosing appropriate methods, and guiding teams with clear recommendations
- Excellent communication skills: able to tailor the level of detail for different audiences and translate findings into concrete product and UX improvements
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, iterative product environment with changing priorities and tight timelines
- Passion for thoughtful, user-centered digital experiences and collaboration with product and design teams
- Bonus: degree in Human Factors, HCI, Design, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, Interaction Design, or a related field
Engagement Details

- 3 month engagement
- $65–$90/hour, depending on experience
