Peak Amp Instruments is building predictive maintenance and procurement software for mission-critical HVAC and data center systems.
We’re looking for a Fractional Technical Product Owner to oversee our outsourced development partner and guide product architecture, code quality, and release management. This is a high-impact, part-time role, perfect for an engineer or technical leader who enjoys working hands-on with early-stage startups.
What you’ll do
- Translate business needs into clear technical tasks
- Oversee partner's progress and ensure quality delivery
- Manage GitHub access, AWS setup, and integrations
- Establish processes for code ownership and scalability
- Advise on product roadmap and architecture decisions
Ideal experience
- 5–10+ years in software engineering, product, or technical leadership
- Experience with IoT / BMS / predictive analytics / AWS environments
- Comfortable managing outsourced or offshore dev teams
- Available ~10 hrs/month (contract-based)
- Bonus: familiarity with data centers or HVAC systems
