AudioCardio is revolutionizing hearing therapy through innovative audio technology. Our proprietary solutions help users improve their hearing capabilities through targeted frequency sound therapy. We're seeking a talented Rust developer to help enhance our cross-platform SDK that powers our hearing therapy applications.
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Fractional Rust developer who has experience with SDK development, cross-platform technologies, or audio systems. This experience isn’t necessary, but it is preferred. We currently have a functioning SDK but need someone to come in and improve it. In this role, you'll work on maintaining and extending our AudioCardio Rust SDK, which enables precise frequency tone playback for hearing therapy applications across iOS and Android platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance our existing Rust-based audio SDK with C and JNI bindings
- Optimize audio processing algorithms for frequency tone playback and volume control
- Design and implement thread-safe audio playback systems
- Collaborate with mobile developers to improve SDK integration experience
- Develop comprehensive testing strategies for audio functionality
- Troubleshoot complex audio issues across different platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Rust in production environments
- Strong understanding of audio processing and digital signal processing concepts
- Experience developing and maintaining SDKs or libraries
- Knowledge of cross-platform development challenges and solutions
- Understanding of low-level audio APIs across different platforms
- Background in developing audio applications or audio processing software
- Knowledge of C/C++ for FFI work
- Experience with real-time audio processing systems
