We’re seeking an experienced Fractional Project Manager to lead and mentor in a dynamic software development environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned PM who thrives on guiding others while driving successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Mentor: Begin by managing a software development project with a Junior PM shadowing your process. Transition into a coaching role to build their confidence and capability.
- Develop PM Skills: Teach best practices in project planning, timeline management, cross-team communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Guide Professional Growth: Support the Junior PM through structured phases:
- Phase 1 (Months 1–3): Build foundational PM knowledge and confidence through coursework and hands-on exposure.
- Phase 2 (Months 4–9): Apply structured methodologies; enable independent leadership of smaller projects.
- Phase 3 (Months 10–15): Prepare for PMI’s CAPM certification.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in Software Development Project Management and SDLC, with hands-on experience in .NET and SQL environments.
- Strong background in mentoring or coaching junior team members.
- Bonus: Experience in financial services or fintech projects.
