About Us
We're a growing insurtech startup that's modernizing the way insurance is sold and serviced through technology. Our core platform handles all insurance operations, and we're launching a new R&D initiative to explore AI-driven insurance solutions, leveraging our existing APIs and infrastructure.
We are a profitable company with over 150 employees, backed by a major European insurer, and operate primarily in Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands.
About the Work
We're launching a skunkworks project, a new AI-focused R&D initiative to explore totally new solutions for our customers. We're looking for a Fractional Product Lead to drive this initiative forward alongside a small core team.
Specifically, you'll:
- Prototype new solutions and create POCs alongside our engineer. Our roadmap includes things like:
- An AI sales agent from lead through purchase
- An AI customer service agent for existing customers
- Claims automation and decision making
- Build vs. buy: research, evaluate, and test third-party tools and APIs that could accelerate product development
- Organize technical specs, requirements, and project documentation
- Coordinate integration between the AI services we build and our existing core platform
- Collaborate closely with our engineer, our CPTO, and our design resource
About You
You MUST Have:
- Significant 0 - 1 Product experience at other early-stage tech startups (think 8+ years as a PM)
- Led Product efforts for startups in one of these industries:
- insurtech
- fintech
- marketplaces
- eCommerce
- A strong technical foundation - you can use Postman to play with APIs, write technical documentation, etc.
- Worked on AI products and features
- Prototyping and POC experience
- Based anywhere in the world
Nice-to-haves:
- Prior founder
- EU or USA time zones (particularly EST)
