About Us
World Wide Window Fashions (WWF) is a fast-growing manufacturer, fabricator, and distributor of premium window treatment products, serving dealers and distributors nationwide. We're in an active growth phase — scaling our sales organization, formalizing our first structured training programs, and building toward a more premium, brand-driven future. Our culture is built on Integrity, Candor, Craftsmanship, Inclusiveness, Passion, and above all — Growth.

The Opportunity
We don't have a dedicated HR/L&D function today, and that's intentional — we want to bring in someone with real depth in organizational development to help us build it right the first time, not staff a generic HR seat.
We're looking for an experienced Learning & Organizational Development Consultant to design, launch, and supervise a company-wide training system — starting with our highest-priority initiative: a structured 6-month Associate Territory Sales Manager (ATSM) training program, taking 4-5 recent graduates from zero product/sales knowledge to full territory ownership (new account acquisition + management of existing accounts).
Important note on how this works: you won't be building curriculum in a vacuum. We have deeply experienced internal leaders — for example, a Sales Manager with 20+ years of industry experience — who will serve as internal mentors and subject-matter experts. Your job is to design the training architecture (structure, sequencing, milestones, assessment), and then work directly with these internal mentors to translate their expertise into curriculum, and to develop them into effective internal trainers themselves. You are the system designer and facilitator; our internal experts are the content owners.
Beyond that flagship program, you'll build out training tracks for:
- New hire onboarding — company culture, employee handbook, and values integration
- Customer service training — service standards and escalation handling
- Product & technical training — coordinating with subject matter experts across manufacturing and sales
- Ongoing skills development for current employees, not just new hires

What You'll Do
- Design the training structure, sequencing, and milestones for the ATSM 6-month program, including competency checkpoints and readiness assessment before territory hand-off
- Identify which internal leaders (e.g., a 20+ year Sales Manager) are the right subject-matter mentors for each area, and run a structured process to extract their tacit knowledge into usable curriculum
- Co-develop curriculum content with those internal mentors — you own the framework, they own the expertise
- Build a scalable onboarding and culture training framework tied to our core values
- Coordinate customer service and product/technical training tracks in partnership with internal leaders and SMEs
- Establish clear metrics for training effectiveness and report progress to leadership
- Train internal mentors to become effective trainers — coaching them on how to teach, not just what to teach
- Facilitate live sessions directly where it makes sense, but design for internal mentors to carry the ongoing delivery
- Coach managers on how to reinforce training in day-to-day management

What We're Looking For
- 7+ years in organizational development, corporate training, or L&D — ideally with experience in sales-driven, manufacturing, or distribution environments
- Proven skill in knowledge-capture facilitation — the ability to sit with an experienced practitioner (not a trainer by background) and turn their tacit know-how into structured, teachable curriculum
- A track record designing structured onboarding/ramp programs with measurable business outcomes (not just "training decks")
- Experience specifically developing subject-matter experts into internal trainers/mentors — this is a core part of the role, not a nice-to-have
- Exceptional interpersonal and emotional intelligence — you'll need credibility with executives, tenured managers who've never trained anyone before, and new hires simultaneously
- Comfort with ambiguity; this is a "build it from scratch" mandate, not a maintain-an-existing-program role
- Bonus: experience with sales competency frameworks or B2B/dealer-distribution sales models

Engagement
Contract/fractional basis, part-time to start with room to scale as the program proves out. Potential path to an ongoing advisory or in-house role for the right person.
- Location: Philadelphia, PA — hybrid, with regular on-site time expected for facilitation and relationship-building.
