The Company

Description: We're building a new kind of healthcare service that modernizes how patients are discharged from a medical facility. Instead of a disjointed handoff, patients receive a continuous and holistic care experience.

Stage & proof points:

  • Recently raised a Series A
  • Live in 5 states

The Work

Problem: Our current HR Lead is leaving, and we need someone to take over the day-to-day.

Specifically, you'll:

  • Run the recruiting process. Hiring isn't super active right now, but when it is, we're often hiring:
    • Providers / clinicians
    • Software engineers
    • Front desk staff
  • Own the onboarding experience, from contract signing through the 30-day checkin
  • Ensure we stay compliant with state employment laws, including exempt status and employee vs. contractor classification
  • Write and review HR policies for our SOC 2 certification
  • Handle employee relations issues as they arise
  • Manage our benefits plan, in partnership with an EA

About You

You MUST have:

  • Owned HR execution for other startups or SMBs
    • Where you're hands-on doing all the work yourself, not overseeing others
  • Significant healthcare experience, and have worked with clinicians and providers
  • Multi-state compliance experience
  • An HR generalist skillset across recruiting, HR ops, culture, etc.
  • Based in the USA only

Nice-to-haves:

  • Based in the NYC area
  • Written or reviewed HR policies for a SOC II audit
