The Company
Description: We're building a new kind of healthcare service that modernizes how patients are discharged from a medical facility. Instead of a disjointed handoff, patients receive a continuous and holistic care experience.
Stage & proof points:
- Recently raised a Series A
- Live in 5 states
The Work
Problem: Our current HR Lead is leaving, and we need someone to take over the day-to-day.
Specifically, you'll:
- Run the recruiting process. Hiring isn't super active right now, but when it is, we're often hiring:
- Providers / clinicians
- Software engineers
- Front desk staff
- Own the onboarding experience, from contract signing through the 30-day checkin
- Ensure we stay compliant with state employment laws, including exempt status and employee vs. contractor classification
- Write and review HR policies for our SOC 2 certification
- Handle employee relations issues as they arise
- Manage our benefits plan, in partnership with an EA
About You
You MUST have:
- Owned HR execution for other startups or SMBs
- Where you're hands-on doing all the work yourself, not overseeing others
- Significant healthcare experience, and have worked with clinicians and providers
- Multi-state compliance experience
- An HR generalist skillset across recruiting, HR ops, culture, etc.
- Based in the USA only
Nice-to-haves:
- Based in the NYC area
- Written or reviewed HR policies for a SOC II audit
