Job Title: Head of Operations (Fractional)

Company: ONUS Leadership / The Coaching Innovation Lab

Location: Remote with potential for some travel

Compensation: $75 - $100/hour, depending on capacity and role alignment

Commitment: 15-20 hours/week to start. This partnership begins with a 5-month engagement (through Dec 2025) with the explicit goal of building a long-term partnership that evolves into a more permanent and expanded role.

Your mission is to build and run the operational backbone of the company as it prepares for its next phase of rapid growth, freeing the Founder to focus on strategy, client relationships, R&D, and brand building. Your immediate focus during the 5-month Foundational Sprint will be to achieve a set of specific and co-created outcomes that stabilize our core operations and create the leverage needed for scale.

Our Ecosystem

You will be stepping into a dynamic ecosystem and playing a pivotal role in managing its growth. While we are a lean core team, we work with a network of contractors and vendor coaches and are poised for rapid expansion.

• The Coaching Innovation Lab: Our primary brand for empowering coaches worldwide to leverage AI effectively, authentically, and responsibly to increase their profits and impact. This includes our flagship course, the "Impact Accelerator."
• Enterprise Consulting & Advising: High-stakes advisory work with industry-leading companies (from startups, to global organizations) on their AI enablement strategies.
• Project BEACON: A multi-year, $3M NIH-backed study measuring the impact of coaching on underrepresented biomedical PhD students. This is a purpose-driven project with national significance, now entering its second year of delivery. (BEACON = Biomedical Excellence Achieved through COaching Networks).
• Thought Leadership: Supporting a platform that includes high-profile speaking engagements, media appearances, and a looming TEDx talk.
• EPOG Academy: Tim's separate education non-profit (Enjoyable Pain of Growth Academy), which makes personal development part of education through AI-powered coaching tools for students. While you won't work for EPOG directly, there is a strong collaborative and social-good spirit that sometimes informs and overlaps with our work.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Program Management (Project BEACON): Own the operational delivery of our flagship initiative, managing a team of vendor coaches, coordinating with research partners, and building upon the systems from the program's successful first year.
• Consulting & Workshop Delivery Support: Provide end-to-end operational support for all consulting engagements, from client onboarding to preparing workshop materials, ensuring a seamless, high-touch client experience.
• Strategic Operations & Systems Design: Design, build, and optimize the company's central operating system in a platform like Notion or Asana, creating the templates and automations that will be our standard for scale.
• Digital Product & Community Support: Support the Coaching Innovation Lab’s "Impact Accelerator" course and live community on Kajabi.
• Strategic & Executive Partnership: Serve as a key strategic thought partner to the CEO, proactively managing priorities, identifying risks, and coordinating all travel logistics.
