About Us
We provide software and managed services to behavioral healthcare clinics, helping them run their businesses more efficiently. Our platform is a vertical SaaS solution that supports clinics with operations, billing, and related needs.
We have a team of seven, and generate ~$5MM revenue.
About the Work
Our CTO is unexpectedly stepping away for medical reasons. We're looking for a Fractional CTO that can stabilize our engineering team, offer technical leadership and mentorship, and ensure we launch our new AI copilot product on time.
Specifically, you'll:
- Oversee and mentor three full-time engineers
- You'll be their go-to person when they have a problem they can't solve
- Closely guide the development and launch of our new AI copilot product (which helps clinicians recommend treatments at point-of-care based on patient data)
- Your primary objective as Fractional CTO will be to make sure this project is built correctly and launches on time
- If capable, this project could involve you hands-on coding
- Handle general backlog grooming and prioritization across the team
- Collaborate closely with the CEO on Product decisions, help inform the roadmap, and even join customer feedback calls
Tech Stack:
- React Native Web
- Node.js
- Python
- Postgres
- Kafka
- AWS
- Claude Sonnet (current LLM of choice)
About You
You MUST have:
- Held CTO, Head of, or equivalent roles at other early-stage tech startups
- A player-coach skillset, you're capable of providing the right technical guidance to a small team, and coding yourself when needed
- Built predictive or recommendation engines using proprietary datasets, used by real customers in production
- Worked in environments with strict PII regulations (either healthtech or other regulated industries)
- Based anywhere, but must offer significant overlap with EST, USA
Some nice-to-haves:
- Significant AI/ML expertise
- Healthtech experience
- Product Management experience
