About Us
We buy new vehicles from the US and Canada and export them to businesses in other countries, focusing mainly on high-demand models. Our work involves complex procurement and logistics, managing every step from sourcing to international shipping.
We've been in business for 15+ years, with revenue peaking as high as $50MM in recent years.
About the Work
Our business relies too heavily on the founder to keep deals moving, source inventory, and manage day-to-day execution. We’re looking for a Fractional COO to build operational discipline, strengthen procurement, and manage a small team so that the business can scale without constant founder involvement.
Specifically, you'll:
- Own the end-to-end deal flow and ensure every active deal moves forward daily
- Build and document repeatable processes for our core functions across sales, procurement, and logistics
- Improve vehicle procurement by creating repeatable sourcing and dealer outreach processes
- Track and act on key business metrics, including deal turn times and sales conversion rates
- Establish a weekly operating rhythm across the team
- Manage, coach, and replace team members as needed to raise execution standards
- The team includes one salesperson, one on logistics, one on vehicle titles, and one on accounting
- Act as the buffer between the founder and the team, reducing dependency on the owner for execution or issue resolution
- This is a hands-on role, not advisory
About You
You MUST have:
- Served as a COO, GM, or Head of Ops, or equivalent titles for small businesses with complex logistics and deal-based operations
- Significant procurement experience - where inventory was obtained through dealer, broker, or supplier networks rather than direct manufacturing
- Examples include parallel / gray markets, wholesale trading, import–export, or independent distribution businesses
- Scaled small businesses to new heights through your Operations work
- Highly comfortable building, documenting, and enforcing operational processes and SOPs
- Experience establishing and owning KPIs like sales pipeline management, turn times, and profitability metrics
Some nice-to-haves:
- Experience specifically with high-value asset trading and international exports
- You've procured inventory that is scarce, hard to reach, and requires creativity
- You can bring in operational sub-contractors as needed, particularly on logistics
How to Get in Touch
Hit that "Request Intro" button below. Include any relevant links so we can get to know you better.
Your brief intro note should clearly address:
- The deal-based and logistics-heavy businesses you've owned Operations for
- The growth and scale achieved as a result of your operational improvements via new processes, SOPs, better KPIs, etc.
- The details of your procurement experience, specifically via dealers and suppliers, and with any hard-to-access inventory
If we think there's a fit, we'll reach out to schedule an intro call. Looking forward!
