About Us
We are a residential renovation company, handling everything from bathrooms to kitchens and minor renovations. Our team manages projects end-to-end, working closely with clients and using a mix of full-time staff and subcontractors.
We have 18 employees and generate around A$10MM in annual revenue.
About the Work
Our CEO is spending too much time in the business, and not enough time on sales. We're looking for a Fractional COO take ownership of day-to-day operations, and help us hit our ambitious growth goals.
Specifically, you'll:
- Take responsibility for operational performance across departments, including construction and marketing
- This includes setting the right KPIs and holding the team accountable
- Deploy new systems and software to help automate certain processes
- Review and improve operational budgets, revenue, and gross margin targets
- Assess the current team's performance, and what changes we need to make to hit our growth goals
- Lead hiring and role design across the org
- Act as a thought partner to the CEO
About You
You MUST have:
- Held COO or Head of Operations titles at other SMBs, and can point to the considerable revenue growth you've helped achieve
- Experience working in industries like:
- construction
- field/trade services (e.g. plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
- technical installation services
- event production
- other project delivery businesses that require crews, vendors, and on-site delivery
- Hired for and managed field teams
- Highly hands-on - you can own the execution that drives the outcomes necessary
- Based in Sydney, AUS and can spend 2 - 3 days per week on-site in our office in Western Sydney
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience owning a P&L
- Home renovation experience specifically
