About Us
We are a software company that helps organizations better understand and manage their software development efforts. Our first product is a service that evaluates codebases for use cases like new incoming CTOs, investor due diligence, and more. We are now building our next product, a SaaS platform focused on product development.
We're a profitable, growing team of 25+, backed by exceptional investors, and our product is trusted by major PE firms and global consultancies.
About the Work
We're expecting significant revenue growth in the coming year, and are launching a SaaS product, both of which bring major new operational challenges. We're looking for a Fractional COO to advise our leadership on how to properly, and quickly, scale our company to meet this demand.
Specifically, you'll:
- Audit our operations across HR, Revenue Operations, Finance, Customer Support, Invoicing/Collections, etc., and recommend areas to level-up
- Identify what's missing in our processes that we aren't even thinking about, and what processes could be improved or automated
- Help optimize operations for our dual revenue model
- Support our expansion from a services foundation to scaled SaaS operations, ensuring processes work seamlessly across both business lines
- Help us better define career progression, within the Operations team and beyond it
- Help with key hires and team scaling
- Work most closely with our CEO and Head of Operations
About You
You MUST have:
- Been an operational leader for other software companies while they have grown from $10MM - $50MM+ revenue (e.g. held COO, VP Ops, Head of Operations, or similar)
- If you've not led a company's operations through this kind of growth period, then we won't be the right fit
- Service-based software company experience (think IT consulting firms, dev shops, security services, data services, etc.), OR SaaS experience from $0 to $10MM+ ARR
- Broad experience across HR Ops, RevOps, FinOps, customer success/support, etc. that you can pull from
- Comfort operating in a technical environment with enterprise clients (PE firms, consultancies, large tech companies)
- Can be based anywhere in the world
Some nice-to-haves:
- You've transitioned companies from managed services to SaaS
- Prior advisory or consulting experience
