Role Overview

As our Fractional COO, you will collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to strengthen operations, improve cross-departmental efficiency, and implement strategic initiatives. This is a part-time, high-impact role (approximately 16 to 20 hours per week) ideal for an experienced operations leader looking to make a meaningful difference in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to refine and execute operational strategy.
• Ensure all departments adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures; proactively audit workflows, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance, efficiency, and safety.
• Identify workflow gaps and lead efforts to improve scheduling, HR, patient flow, and support services.
• Analyze operational metrics and implement performance improvement plans.
• Oversee cross-functional initiatives to elevate team collaboration and patient satisfaction.
• Mentor department leads and foster a culture of accountability and alignment.
• Provide executive-level insight while remaining hands-on with daily operations as needed.

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a COO, Director of Operations, or similar leadership role
• Experience in integrative or functional medicine strongly preferred
• Skilled in organizational development, process improvement, and team leadership
• Excellent communicator with a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset
• Comfortable leading strategic initiatives while also supporting day-to-day needs
• Must be available 2-3 days per week in person in our Irvine, California office (with flexibility for remote tasks outside of those days)
