About Boat Trips Club
Boat Trips Club is a 7-figure curated travel platform offering premium boat experiences in select international destinations. We operate with a controlled supplier base and fixed internal products. Quality, speed, and operational discipline matter more to us than open marketplace scale.
We are now locking in a simplified operating system and need a senior operator to run the implementation.
The Role:
This is not a strategy, advisory, or planning role.
The operating model already exists.
Your job is to execute it, enforce it, and make it stick.
You will be inside the business, working with real bookings, real suppliers, and real teams until the system runs without founder involvement.
What You Will Actually Do
- Take ownership of day-to-day operations during the project
- Implement and enforce a single internal operating truth across sales, ops, and finance
- Kill custom products, edge cases, and exceptions
- Configure and run booking, supplier, and payout flows in Zoho
- Reduce WhatsApp and ad-hoc communication to near zero
- Train teams and hold them accountable to fixed rules
- Stay involved until the system is stable and boring
Success = the business runs the same with or without founders.
This Role Is NOT
- Not a consultant writing documents
- Not a strategist defining vision
- Not a developer or automation role
- Not someone who hands over a plan and leaves
If you don’t like execution pressure, this is not for you.
Who You Are
- Former COO, Head of Operations, GM, or senior operator
- Has personally implemented operational systems, not just designed them
- Experience in travel, hospitality, curated platforms, marketplaces with supplier control, or multi-location service businesses
- Comfortable enforcing rules, saying no, and making unpopular decisions
- Calm, structured, execution-first
Founder or ex-founder experience is a strong plus.
Engagement Structure
- Fractional / project-based
- 2–3 days per week
- Initial 3-month mandate
- Remote
- Direct founder access and real authority
Extension or long-term role possible only after execution success.
