Sprious is a 50-person US-based tech company founded 8 years ago. We're a fast-growing SaaS with a strong inbound content marketing machine utilizing on-site content, video, and Google Ads. At Sprious, we provide marketing services to a number of companies, each specializing in distinct products and services tailored to meet diverse needs:

  1. Rayobyte (rayobyte.com) is the United States' largest provider of Data Center (DC), residential, and mobile proxies. Leveraging cutting-edge technology and robust infrastructure, Rayobyte delivers high-performance proxy solutions for various applications.
  2. Scraping Robot (scrapingrobot.com) offers comprehensive API and custom scraping solutions. With a focus on data extraction and automation, Scraping Robot empowers businesses with tailored scraping tools to gather valuable insights from diverse online sources efficiently.
  3. Cash Raven (cashraven.io) is a monetization platform for applications and software that provides innovative solutions to maximize revenue generation.

To enhance our market reach and drive growth, particularly of our new residential product line, we are seeking a highly skilled Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to provide strategic oversight of our existing marketing team, help us define and attract our ideal customer persona, and be a reliable resource for questions relating to lead generation and inbound and outbound marketing. We expect your hours to range from 5-10 hours/week.

Specific Near-term Needs

  • We’ve recently decided to rebrand ourselves to speak to consumers and SMBs. Our current website is “everything to everyone,” and we believe there is value in speaking to a more narrow audience. We will seek your input on this strategy and then help us determine a roadmap to execute it across all marketing channels (website updates, email messaging, brand voice, etc.).
  • Once a strategy is defined, we will seek your help in scaling up. This may be strategically hiring specialists in certain fields (i.e., a PPC expert, SEO expert, etc. ), defining their responsibilities, and helping us manage these specialists to reach success.
  • We also believe there is an opportunity to clean up our HubSpot ecosystem. More automation, better data, better reporting, use of pipelines, and more. We seek your expertise to help with this in the context of our B2C market of nearly 4000 customers
  • Lastly, we have regularly struggled with having a good website-building process and a design system. We would be seeking your help in building this out to be more efficient.


General Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the executive team to refine our marketing objectives and align them with our business goals.
  • Build a more coherent brand identity for Sprious product lines, in particular with regard to messaging.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
