Position: Fractional CFO (Leading to Full-Time)
Location: Silicon Valley (Remote/Part-time, 20-30 hours/week)
Company: High-growth tech startup in healthcare AI

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead capital raising (priority #1): Secure equity, venture debt, and non-dilutive financing through strong VC/investor networks; structure deals for debt/equity; negotiate with investors/finance companies/banks internationally.
- Manage cash flow, budget forecasting, execution, policy enforcement, procedures, checks/balances, and financial controls.
- Automate financial processes using AI, QuickBooks, HubSpot, etc.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, modeling, reporting; competitive analysis; SWOT analysis.
- Support global expansion, international tax structuring, tax rebate programs (Canada, US, UK); set up corporations internationally/domestically for optimal tax/strategic planning.
- Oversee corporate filings (federal, state, local).
- Handle contract negotiation/review; structure bonus/incentive plans.
- Present to investors; set up data rooms; prepare investor decks, financial forecasting; compile business plans with unit heads including strategies.
- Oversee all HR functions: onboarding, terminating, PIP, employment reviews; set milestones/objectives for employees/finances within timeframes; screening, interviewing, reference/background checks; negotiate global benefit packages.
- Multitask, prioritize, execute tasks; delegate/follow up; strong time management.

Qualifications:
- Certified accountant (CPA required).
- Proven experience in equity capital raising, VC market connections in Silicon Valley; deal structuring (debt/equity); investor negotiations; capital markets with VC groups, family offices, VC in health tech, AI, robotics.
- Strong Rolodex/relationships with potential investors; proof of Rolodex required.
- Experience in pre-seed, seed, Series A through IPO.
- Background in high-growth startups/entrepreneurial environments.
- Expertise in securing debt, automating systems, budgeting, analytics; global expansion; taking company public (IPO).
- Strong contract negotiation/review; detail-oriented, analytical; multitasking/prioritizing.
- Experience in tax rebates (Canada, US, UK); international/domestic corporation setup; corporate filings.
- HR oversight experience; benefit negotiation; investor presentations; data rooms; business planning; competitive/SWOT analysis.
- Minimum 10-15 years experience.
