The Mission: Scaling Elite Fractional Counsel
I founded Everest Legal Services to bridge a critical gap in the market. Most companies are forced to choose between "Big Law" overhead or overstretched in-house teams. We offer a third way: Fortune 50-caliber legal precision delivered with the speed and technical discipline of Big Tech.
As a blind founder who was told early on what I couldn't achieve, I’ve spent my life proving that anything is possible. From graduating from Harvard to spending over a decade at Google and leading the Ads Legal function at Meta (managing a portfolio responsible for $120B+ in annual revenue), I know what excellence looks like at scale.
Now, I am looking for a Business Development Manager who shares that "no-limits" mentality to help us grow Everest into the premier destination for fractional and interim legal counsel.
The Role: Turning a Network into an Engine
This is a high-level strategic role. You will not be cold-calling; you will be "mining" a world-class network of tech executives, founders, and legal leaders to formalize referral paths and identify new client opportunities.
Your Focus:
- Strategic Relationship Management: Act as the bridge between my existing 1st-degree contacts (Big Tech, VC, and Startups) and our legal team.
- System Building: We have the pedigree and the expertise; we need you to build the "scrappy" but professional CRM engine to track and nurture these high-value relationships.
- Partnership Outreach: Identify and open doors with venture capital firms and tech accelerators that need elite, fractional legal support for their portfolio companies.
Who You Are
- Scrappy & Driven: You don’t wait for a playbook. You thrive in a startup environment and are excited to build something from the ground up that will last.
- Technical Literacy: We are a firm of technical experts (CS degrees and 40+ patents). You should be comfortable speaking the language of tech-forward clients.
- Absolute Polish: You understand the discretion and professional standards required when representing a Harvard/Google/Meta alum.
- Growth Mindset: You believe that high-quality, fractional services are the future of the legal industry and you want to lead that charge.
The Structure
- Type: Fractional / Contract (approx. 10–15 hours/week to start, with significant room to grow).
- Location: Remote.
- Compensation: Monthly Retainer + Flat Performance Bonuses (structured to be fully compliant with legal ethics and non-lawyer fee-sharing rules).
